Tiger Hill

It is one of the most popular destinations within the beautiful town of Darjeeling. It is the second highest point of Darjeeling and is one of the best viewpoints to view the sunrise and brings many half asleep tourist who come in here before dawn and wait anxiously for the magical scene of the unique sunrise that can only be best seen from here.

Batasia Loop

Batista Loop is the popular tourist place in Darjeeling which is mostly visited by clients on their way back from Tiger Hill. It is an elevated area which has a spiral railway track which goes through a tunnel and rises towards the top where it circles the Memorial Park that lies above. The memorial is a beautifully decorated garden and also a view point.

Peace Pagoda

Peace Pagoda in Darjeeling is a famous monument that sends the message of peace and harmony to the entire world. Though it was built by Japanese monk who was Buddhist yet his construction was an effort to promote peace through sculpture which showed different phases of the life of Lord Buddha. The place has an ambiance of its own and is a great place for a day trip or trek.

Ghoom Monastery

Ghoom Monastery is a popular tourist place in Darjeeling and is probably one of the oldest monastery that Darjeeling had. Also popular as Yiga Choeling Monastery, this tourist place is near the Ghoom Railway station and about 8 km from Darjeeling town. It is not just a spiritual destination but also a great place to see the artistic and art of the artists that constructed that vintage monastery.

Rock Garden

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Museum

Toy train gushing through the Himalayan ranges is one of the heritage icons of Darjeeling. There are three museums in the Darjeeling region and you can visit any one in Ghoom, Kurseong or Sukna. The Ghoom museum displays some of the most exotic items that are related to the existence of the DHR and the Toy Train. The DHR has also received an status of world heritage site by the UNESCO.
